Welcome to Delta Glow, a candle and soap studio located in beautiful Asheville, NC, specializing in truly natural self-care to nourish skin and soul. The Greek symbol 🔺Delta means "change". Our small-batch, handcrafted soaps and candles are meant to "change your glow" on the inside and out.
Our products contain only natural oils, butters, essential oils, clays, salts, waxes, and natural/eco-friendly colorants. That's it. Our recipes are blended in a way to enhance well-being, as well as, provide nourishing components for skin without added synthetic dyes, fragrances, and chemicals known to be harmful if ingested, inhaled, or applied to skin.
We offer 9 color collections of which we have blended essential oils to the desired scent and self-care outcome aligned with that color. These blends target daily skin care, focus, relaxation, restoration, vitality, good health, and happy vibes.
Our mission is simple: Providing self-care for skin and spirit thru color, light, scent and clean, pure ingredients to encourage a positive change in body, mind, and soul. Our goal is for our products to bring positivity, peace and well-being to the individual, one calming moment at a time, and ultimately spread a joyful glow throughout our community and planet.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kristin Walker
Kristin Walker, a North Carolina native, spent her childhood immersed in nature, art, and imaginative play. She loved exploring the woods with friends in her neighborhood, creating art, dressing up, and experimenting with every beauty product she could find. Her parents nurtured her love for the outdoors by frequently taking her to the mountains of western NC, where she developed a deep appreciation for hiking, camping, and the stunning vistas along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Kristin's passions have always centered around connection, creativity, and service. She's been driven by a love for family, art, nature, healthy self-care, and creating positive experiences for others. For 30 years, she dreamed of moving to her "happy place" in the mountains of western NC to pursue her art while exploring the crafts of soapmaking and candle-making. That dream became reality in 2021, when she moved to Asheville and created Delta Glow, a studio that blends her artistic talents, love for natural self-care, and desire to give back through her Give & Glow mission.
Using her extensive knowledge of color, scent, and natural ingredients, Kristin creates handcrafted candles and soaps that brighten lives, soothe the spirit, and nurture the body inside and out. At her core, Kristin is an artist dedicated to creating meaningful moments, evoking happy memories, and infusing self-care with beauty and purity. Through Delta Glow, she has found a joyful way to do just that.
